Knock for the 99

Where: Long Island Progressive Coalition Headquarters
90 Pennsylvania Avenue, Massapequa, NY 11758

Join us to fight for Fair Elections for New York! We’re participating in a statewide day of action to send a message to our elected officials in Albany that our elections should be about voters, not big money donors. We’ll be talking with our neighbors, gathering petition signatures, and encouraging people to call their state Senator and urge support for the 2012 Fair Elections Act, which would bring public financing of elections and lessen the influence of special interests and their lobbyists

There will be refreshments and a brief training, and then we’ll hit the streets to reach as many concerned citizens as we can. For more information, contact John at 516-541-1006×11 or john@lipc.org.
